Enforcement Supervision

　　Since 1993,procurators have been performing its supervisory function as defined by the Constitution,the Criminal Procedure Law,the Civil Procedure Law and the Administrative Procedure Law.Form then on ,1272 criminals have been pursued for arrest 269 of them have been prosecuted.In order to strengthen adjudication supervision,we appear in court and support public prosecution.Since 1993，we have corrected illegal activities in the court 583 times by pointing out in words or in writing and instituted 371 complaints against court ruling,and 101 judgements were revised.

　　At present，3 detached procuratorates have been set up and procuratorial officials have appeared in prisons,detention houses and reeducation and rehabilitation schools.From 1993 to 1997，we raised cases for correction,which involved 530 pieces of warrantless imprisonment.And 69688 pieces of over-term custody,3244 pieces of wrong conveyed enforcement，216 pieces of illegal conduct of commutation，parole，medical parole and commutation，and 144 pieces of illegal execution of sentence outside prison yet under surveillance were corrected.In a bid to strengthen the supervision of civil litigation and administrative proceedings，we reinforce lodging protests to the wrong judgements.From 1993 to 1997，6425 cases of appeal were accepted，570 cases were put on record，and investigated，208 ones were revised.Since the enforcement of the Compensation Law，we have taken up to 12 cases of criminal compensation and got 6 recompensed.
